Everyone needs to add some staple pieces in their closet that can easily be styled with anything and everything. It doesn't always have to be those jeans or sweatpants that you wear every day but something fashionable that can give your outfit an instant lift.
I've a few staple pieces in my closet which come in really handy whenever I need to plan an outfit for an occasion. Without even giving it a thought, my mind automatically starts creating numerous options out of all those pieces. For days when you quickly need to pull together a look, you can effortlessly style these with anything. If you don't know where to start, take inspiration from my options to start with. Here are my current favorites at the moment:
1. Ruffled Split Trousers
These green ruffled split wide-leg trousers are insanely flattering and make anything you pair them look good!

I find tulle skirts super adorable and feminine. You can dress them with crop tops/sweaters and heels for a versatile appealing look. Perfect for creating a flirty look to wear on a brunch date. I wore mine on a winery trip to Niagara.

3. Trench Coat
Trench coats are perfect to layer with sweaters and other jackets especially in the fall season and give you such a polished look. You can even create a high-fashion look in the summer with your favorite shorts 😉

4. Floral Dress
Floral dresses are evergreen and always in season. You can never go wrong with these! I say, load up on them this season!!

5. Padded Shoulder Blazer
Padded blazers create such a vintage look, which I personally like a lot. They are perfect for layering on everything from jeans to slip dresses and instantly puts together the entire look. I know some people find them unflattering, but they're amazing for broad shoulder women like me. Total #BossBabe material!

6. Little Black Dress

7. A White Tee

9. A Hat
A hat is definitely my go-to accessory for any trip. Hats make me feel like I'm relaxing and on vacation somehow, therefore, I carry a hat everywhere I go, even on a coffee trip. Why not? That does count as a trip, no?

10. Versatile Belt

11. Comfortable Heels
The last but definitely not the least staple piece for my closet is a comfortable pair of heels. I have a big collection of heels (I'm obsessed!) but the Bella Soft Pink Leather Ruffle Strap Heeled Pumps by Michael Kors is by far the most comfortable pair of heels I own. The cute part is, I didn't even shop them on my own, they were a surprise gift from my husband 😍
